Messrs. Yusri Omar & Arshad Partners (“the Firm”) was initially formed and established in 1^st January, 2007.

Brief history of the Firm is narrated as follows:-

1. establishment of Messrs Yusri & Associates on 1^st January 2007;
2. merger and amalgamation of Messrs Yusri & Associates and Messrs Abdul Nasir Abdul Aziz on 20^th August, 2007 to the practice under the name and style of Messrs. Yusri Nasir Aziz & Partners;
3. on 1^st January 2013 the firm has change its name to Messrs Yusri Omar & Partners;
4. on 1^st November 2016, as a result of merger and amalgamation between the solicitors firm of Messrs Yusri Omar & Partners and Messrs Arshad & Co as approved by the Malaysian Bar Council on 1^st November, 2016, the Firm has changed its name to Messrs Yusri Omar Arshad & Partners.

• The Firm practice under the name and style of Messrs. Yusri Omar Arshad & Partners.

• The Firm currently consists of four (4) partners and two (2) legal assistants. Each of them has been assigned to handle a different spectrum of the law. Professional Indemnity Insurance Coverage:

• The Firm is currently covered by Professional Indemnity Insurance Mandatory Scheme for the limit of Ringgit Malaysia Five Hundred Thousand (RM500,000.00) with further additional coverage of Ringgit Malaysia Four Million Five Hundred Thousand Only (RM4,500,000.00) to make total coverage of Ringgit Malaysia Five Million Only (RM5,000,000.00) with aggregate (inclusive of auto reinstatement of limit of indemnity) has been increased to RM9,000,000.00. This compulsory insurance coverage is to protect the Firm from any possible negligence suit and to serve as a security for the Firm.

• The Firm was established on the 1^st day of January, 2007.

• The Firm has the practice of assigning a Partner and an Assistant to undertake a duty of preparing and completion of legal documentations. The Firm does not assign any drafting of corporate and commercial documents to clerical staff. This practice is to maintain the quality in preparing legal documentations.
• Currently, the Partner-in-charge for advising corporate and commercial matters in Kuala Lumpur main office is Encik Yusri Farid bin Mat Sood, Encik Omar Nathan bin Abdullah and assisted by Mr Sinky Anak Siba and Puan Narul Haslinda bt Sarip (Legal Assistant) and together with an Assistant cum Corporate Secretary, Pn Nurul Ain bt Hassan.

• The Firm is equipped with Internet and E-Mail facilities that are utilized extensively for perusing, finalizing and swapping of draft documents. The Firm is also in the midst of preparing its own website in order to promote legal services for easy access and to keep an abreast with the Information and Communication Technology (ICT).
